Reliable UniFi networks for schools and growing businesses

We survey, design, supply, install, and configure Ubiquiti UniFi Wi‑Fi and switching — then hand over clear documentation so your team stays in control.

Why the network matters as much as the devices

Classroom apps, student safety tools, zero-touch enrolment, and everyday business systems all depend on solid Wi‑Fi and switching. When coverage is patchy or the network is hard to manage, even well-set-up Macs and iPads feel unreliable.

We design and deliver Ubiquiti UniFi networks as a clear project: professional planning, quality hardware, careful install, and a clean handover to your team.

Why we recommend UniFi

UniFi brings enterprise-grade Wi‑Fi, switching, and gateways together under one management experience. That means capable hardware, clear visibility, and room to grow — without the heavy licensing model of many traditional enterprise stacks.

For Australian schools and growing businesses, it is a practical way to get dependable campus or office connectivity that your own team can understand and operate after we hand over.

  • Hardware that works as a family

Access points, switches, and gateways designed to work together — so your network is coherent from day one.

  • Straightforward to run

A modern management experience that school and business IT teams can learn and use with confidence.

  • Built to grow with you

Start with one building or site, then add coverage and capacity without changing platform.

  • Ongoing software improvement

Regular UniFi software updates bring new features and refinements over the life of the deployment.

The UniFi building blocks we deploy

Most projects centre on Wi‑Fi and switching. Gateways and advanced options are included when they fit your site and goals.

Wi‑Fi that holds up in real buildings

Schools and workplaces are hard RF environments: dense device counts, mixed walls and materials, and guests on top of staff or student networks. UniFi Wi‑Fi is built for that reality — with tools to understand interference, plan channels, and manage access centrally.

We turn those capabilities into a design for your site: the right access point models and placement, sensible network names and segmentation, and validation with the devices you actually use — including Apple fleets.

  • K‑12 schools

Campus Wi‑Fi and switching that support modern learning and managed Apple devices. Delivered as a project with full documentation and handover to your IT team.

  • Growing businesses

Offices, workshops, and multi-site teams that need reliable Wi‑Fi for staff devices, job systems, and Microsoft 365 — designed once and documented clearly.

  • Alongside device projects

Often delivered with Apple Device Setup, JAMF, or school safety work so devices and network go live together.

How a project works

From first site visit to a documented handover — not a box drop.

01

Survey

We walk the site, understand coverage goals and busy areas, review existing cabling and equipment, and note practical constraints such as access hours and ceiling types.

02

Scope

We agree what success looks like, what is included, and whether work should be phased. Pricing is quoted for your environment — not listed as a one-size price online.

03

Design

Network layout, Wi‑Fi names and segmentation, access point placement, switching and Power over Ethernet, and a sensible security baseline.

04

Procure

A clear equipment list for UniFi hardware and agreed accessories, ordered and coordinated for delivery to site.

05

Install

Access points and switches mounted and cabled correctly, with coordination for any electrical or cabling partners you already use.

06

Configure

UniFi adopted and configured end to end — wireless, switching, and gateway where included — then checked with real devices.

07

Hand over

Admin access, as-built notes, simple guides for common tasks, and a walkthrough so your team can run the network day to day.

  • Agreed design

Scope, high-level layout, network names and segmentation, and placement approach before equipment is finalised.

  • Working network

Live UniFi Wi‑Fi and switching (and gateway when included), checked with representative staff, student, or business devices.

  • Handover pack

Access details, as-built notes, naming conventions, and practical how-to guidance for your team.

  • Optional extras

Guest access design, multi-site expansion, cabling recommendations, or phased building rollouts when you need them.

  • Fixed networking

Switch selection, Power over Ethernet planning, uplinks, and VLANs so wired and wireless work as one system.

  • Wireless

Access point models and placement for coverage and density, with networks for staff, students, guests, or other needs as required.

  • Security basics

Sensible segmentation, guest isolation patterns, and admin access hygiene aligned to how your organisation works.

  • Documentation

As-built notes and knowledge transfer so your internal team retains control after we finish.

Designed for real sites

Equipment and install choices matched to buildings, density, and how people actually move through the space.

UniFi compact switch

Right-sized equipment

From compact switches for smaller sites to higher-density hardware for larger campuses — chosen for the job, not a one-size catalogue pick.

UniFi wall-mounted access point

Install that fits the building

Mounting and placement that respect ceilings, walls, and real site constraints — so coverage is planned, not guessed.

UniFi fibre and high-speed interconnect modules

Ready for larger sites

High-speed links and multi-building paths when a single switch is not enough for your campus or multi-site layout.

Built with Apple devices in mind

Managed Macs and iPads only feel “set up” when the network underneath is predictable. We design and validate with Apple devices in mind — roaming between rooms, dense shared spaces, workshop or field Wi‑Fi, and guest access that stays separate from staff networks.

Many organisations schedule UniFi work with Apple Device Setup or school device projects so people arrive to a network that is already ready.

Pricing

Every project is different — buildings, device density, and how much of the stack you need (Wi‑Fi only versus full switching and gateway). Hardware and professional services are quoted after a short discovery and site understanding. We keep the quote transparent and fixed-scope wherever we can.

Frequently asked questions

What happens after install?

We hand over documentation and access so your team can operate the network day to day. If you need further help later, we can scope a follow-on project or optional support for growing businesses.

Do you cover both Wi‑Fi and switching?

Yes. We design wired and wireless together so access points are properly powered and segmented. A gateway is included when it is part of the agreed scope.

Can this work with our internal IT team?

Yes. Most schools and many businesses already have internal IT. We document the environment and transfer knowledge so your team can operate it confidently after handover.

Why UniFi rather than a traditional enterprise brand?

UniFi offers strong hardware value and a unified management experience, without the heavy licensing complexity many classic enterprise platforms impose. We recommend it when it is a good fit for the site and the people who will run it day to day.

Do you supply the hardware?

Yes. We produce an equipment list and can supply UniFi hardware as part of the project. We can also work with equipment you already own when it fits the design.

Are you part of Ubiquiti?

No. We are an independent professional services firm. UniFi and Ubiquiti are trademarks of Ubiquiti Inc. We design and implement UniFi networks for our clients; final designs are always site-specific.
