1-1 iPad Course (D) - Unit Focus- Online
A mentoring approach, with a focus on integrating the iPad's functionality and application to meet the learning intentions and outcomes within the Australian Curriculum. This course is for schools who are ready to consolidate their 1-1 iPad learning environments within the Digital Technologies and Media Arts curriculum units (P-6) and other KLA's with an ICT focus/element.
Nicole McFarland is an experienced teacher across primary and secondary schools. Nicole's experience in 1-1 classrooms and developing and delivering Digital Technologies over 5 years has allowed her to utilise technology as a tool for planning, teaching, learning and assessing. She delivers Professional Development to primary and secondary educators around STEM Education, as well as embedding the use of engaging learning applications as a whole school approach to teaching, learning and behaviour management.
Course Outcomes
- Guided hands on experience in re-shaping units of work to be engaging, purposeful and accessible for the 1-1 iPad classroom environment.
- Digital copy of initial and final reflections through (GROW/ORID) coaching.
- (APST 2.1, 2.6, 3.2, 3.4, 3.6, 4.5, 6.2)
Course Delivery and Duration
2 hours weekly per attendee over 5 weeks or 1 hour weekly per attendee over 10 weeks at your site within a 1 hour drive of our office in Aspley. Our workshops can be delivered further afield for the listed rate plus travel and accommodation expenses. Please call us for more details.
